all of the leaders (redrock, brevis, sgpro, letus) are great. but they all have their own plusses and minuses AND their own personalities - from both a workflow and aesthetic standpoint. none of them are perfect. it really comes down to expectation and personal taste.

the best thing to do is just search this and other forums and make a decision by reading various discussion topics and looking at posted example footage (which there is PLENTY OF!) after a few days of research, you'll probably be able to make a pretty educated decision on the one that suits you and your style best.

personally, i chose the brevis. for two main reasons: 1. it was available on demand - most of the adapter manufacturers, given that this is a VERY niche market dont always have inventory of products on hand. and 2. it was easiest to set up and did not absolutely require rails to use.

HOWEVER. nearly all benefits have their downsides too. given the ease of setup of the brevis its also not quite as stable as the larger, bulkier units. even torqued down and attached to my rails setup, its sometimes twists out of alignment when changing lenses. not a big huge deal. just requires a little more attention on set. maybe the others have that issue as well, but the brevis is the only one i have extensive experience with...
