Pleasse Help Capturing In Fcp - 16:9 Adapter

I know I should be posting this in fcp sect. but I need a quick answer. I'm trying to capture footage shot on the 100a with a 16:9 adapter, but everything is showing up in the viewers as squeezed? what are the settings for what I'm trying to do? Thanks:crybaby: :crybaby:

You should PM Blaine here on the group, he and I worked this out just recently and came up with the proper solution. I am not a FCP user, I use PPro (so this is really easy for me) but Blaine is one, so we needed to work this out by a bit of trial and error (its not one of the so called "easy setups" you need to edit the settings to get it to work correctly).

you need to go into your audio/video settings and make your capture preset and sequence preset set to do anamorphic video. if you shot 24pA then you would want to duplicate the preset for Advanced Pulldown, edit the new one and click the checkbox for anamorphic. if is another framerate, then just duplicate and edit the basic dv ntsc profile.
