Hi;
I'm working on a video from my trip in Kabul, I've created an intro, with 2 different sound tracks.

One is traditional Dari sound, the other is more new-age type. Would love some feedback, on which one you think is better. The video will be a slideshow of images, with the Ken Burns effect (will add video later on).

The video is called "45Daze in Afghanistan". See both clips here: http://youtube.com/profile?user=ENVOYfilms

Thanks!

If I had to choose which piece of music I'd rather listen to, I'd choose the second. But this is your vid.

Both of these clips create a different feel. It really comes down to what sort of mood do you want this intro to create...

Two things
1) Audience
2) Content

If the piece is for an American audience I would say the first version because it is more upbeat and sets me up to see a fun side of Afghanistan and you might need to sell that to an American audience more.

If the content of the piece is serious, dramatic, contemplative then the second intro might suit it better.

Makes sence... the second piece is more serious.. and I think will work better with the "serious" nature of the peice.

Ideally, I was looking for an Afghan sound that was more serious..., but that was tough to find.

Thanks for teh input.
