Please tell me what you think of this music video.

Looks pretty good. I think you could have done some more creative things with the editing to make it more interesting. It got a little monotonous after a while. I also think a nice color grade would have been great in spots. otherwise great job.

no problem. It is crystal clear and I like the song. I just think you could do some more cool things to take it to another level. You have FCP and you have so much at your disposal to really make it pop!

I know but for what was going on off set I am happy with the product but I believe anything someone creates always has room for improvement.

i agree with the other comment about you could've done a lot more creative things with what you had. it got really repetitious really quick. the first rapper seemed extra lazy, also seemed like his lips weren't all the way synched with the words on some parts. the other two guys brought a lot more character to the video and looked like they were relaxed and having fun with it (especially the 2nd dude).

in the party scene it woulda been interesting if you had a few characters doing some goofy stuff since these guys were obviously having a good time and not posing with machine guns draped in diamonds talking about how many people they've killed and how many keys they're moving.

some of the shots looked dark, but if this was your first video and you spent hardly nothing and had fun while doing it then good job. spend some time looking for some cool FCP plugins to spruce up the editing transitions and effects for the next project (or this one) and you'll see a noticeable difference.

It's good I like t but got alot of questions. what format did u shoot in and compression settings is that quality because of the vimeo or am I doin some thin wrong your stuff is crystal clear and mine looks good but not that good. my only advice is more effects maybe some color correction I really like the earthquake effect u used. but I think if you would have eased into it using keyframes it would look alot smoother (zing pow at the end)

not really much to comment on here. its the same old rap formula with the same old rap song...

:dankk2:

So why comment at all, that can be said for any form of music...... With that said the video looked good minus some "dark" areas. Maybe some light bouncing or even more light would have helped those scenes.

Now regarding the song imo it should have had better production, it's so much easier to push a project when everything is on point. Regardless good video and keep it up, just need to find that "hungry" artist.

peace

Steeve I shot it in 720/30p on a HVX200a. I compress my stuff through Final Cut Pro. Quicktime conversion, H.264 current frame at high quality. Screen size 1280x720 and audio AAC 48k.O I know there was some dark spots and the lighting was with flood lights *lol* but Pittsburgh is loving the music video. We premiered it and everything at a couple clubs. Pittsburgh loves it.

pretty good overall...a lot of nice images but a bit drawn out toward middle to end. It started to look like more of a documentary with music overlayed rather than a music video all the way through. In general you did a nice job in my opinion.

Also I must comment and say I truly hate that spinning website you have floating in the bottom of the video. Reminds me of the horrible work from "Jordan Towers", truly cheesey imo
