Hey guys after some feedback. I have output this to DVD and the wood sliding doors are coming up a bit yellow on my 42" plasma. Looks perfect here, weather in Premiere or photoshop. Just wondering could people reply as to how it looks on your screen. Sheesh unreliable colors going on here.... not sure which one is lying to me though. :furious3: Thanks for the help.

On my Dell fltascreen they look like they should. A sorta mild bamboo color and nothing overly offensive!

Cool really appreciate that John, getting on my nerves, the plasma seems to be out a little .. too contrasty and saturated. The tech set it up for me (all in Japanese) .... There is a little shiznitz in the reds but not too bad.

is that a sward sticking out of here head ?

lmao ......its traditional shinto headgear.

Thanks for all the replies... seems I need an adjustment on the plasma ........ Japanese have a wierd sense of color.

Yeah, your plasma is probably just off. I recommend you go out and get a A/V calibration disc like Avia or D.V.E. While it's true that people can usually get fairly close calibrating by eye (I do it all the time at my friend's houses) you first need to know what calibrated actually looks like.

However just know that most purists will claim that an image is only truly seen for what it is when it is shown on a CRT tube tv as LCD (like computer monitors) or plasma like your tv have a slightly different look than CRT which people say is still the closest to what your image would look like if projected on film. I'd recommend checking the image out on a calibrated CRT TV to really figure out how your image looks like.
