Hi.
My english is too bad but Ill tray.
I do my homework, trying to find answers in the web but I dont sure about this so I ask, hope someone can help me.

Im buying a gh1 with the intention of hhack it, aparently the camera can be hacked, its serial number is WE0AXXXX but the actual owner never try to hack, about the firmware he said: "I did do a firmware update using the Panasonic GH1__132 file"

So basiclay the quetsion is: a camera with serial number WE0AXXXXand with firmware unpdated using the Panasonic GH1__132 file, is sure that can be hacked?

going by the serial number it should be hackable. if he was able to update to v1.32 then that is another sign it is hackable too.

I would ask if the camera has ever been sent out for any repairs between June 2009 and now. That is is when Panasonic introduced the hack/block. Anything that would have gone to Panasonic would have been updated with this firmware, which--correct me if I'm wrong--I believe also shows as v1.32?? Can anyone confirm that?

i believe it shows v1.34 not v1.32 but still a good question to ask the seller. They have never officially released v1.34 hence the reason why it cannot be looked at and hacked.
