Please help - Zoom Problem with DVX 100B and Digital Optics Super 2.0x

Hey Everyone,

Quick question I could really use your help with...
We have 2 DVX100Bs here that we need to use tomorrow for a production. As you no doubt know, they have 10x optical zoom, but we need more. We have Digital Optics Super 2.0x Lens. We assumed that you just put the lens on the front of the camera's lens, and it'll double the zoom capacity (2x 10x = 20x? Surely?). But it doesn't seem to do... anything!

What are we doing wrong? Someone else in the company said we can do this, but couldn't remember how, said there was a trick or something? Help? Please... :)

It looks like this only adds 2x to the overall zoom, so instead of a 10x zoom its now a 12x zoom.

Ah bugger
That makes a degree of sense. I wasn't able to notice a difference before with it on, but at closer inspection, it is a tiny bit more zoomed.
