Please HELP WITH SONY F35

I’ve never tried powering the srw1 with the ptap and exactly because of what Mike is saying here I certainly WON’T try it. So far I’m simply just powering the f35 with the ptap to lemo cable. I’m using a blackmagic assist with its own batteries attached, until I gather the willpower to convert this ptap to lemo to a Vmount plate

I hear that, and yeah, it can be like cold water, but definitely don't take it too much to heart. Luckily there are manuals and the >300pgs of F35 goodness on this forum. And while I am sure you have read them, now that you have the camera or will soon, good to go over it again.

Yachacha has been an awesome person and spent time helping us all and shared his findings. And you have expressed your appreciation for him and that is great. Good to give eachother the benefit of the doubt, as F35 world is pretty small. Gotta lean on each other pretty hard. I actually miss my chats with rbirnbaum. Good times.

Looking forward to what you create with the F35. I miss that camera and pretty jealous of you right now.

Appreciate you for understanding. I'm just so happy I found the camera im never letting go of. o feel as if I can imagine it (no matter how big the idea is) this camera can capture it beautifully. for so long I never was able to out into words what I wanted to get out of digital, but finally this camera has delivered and I feel my celluloid withdrawls has calmed way down. I hated digital for so long and switching over from film was hard for me. Sony really went above and beyond with this beast a d it's sad they didnt get the support from actual filmmakers who should have been happy that *SOMEONE* replicated film, so sad they had to join the resolution party. I just want to hug them. So happy for this community and its members.

hopefully you get one again.

best regards
