FS7: Please help with my brand new Speed Booster and Canon lens!

I have read lots of reports from people frustrated by autofocus and metabones but maybe they are talking about full auto, not push auto.
^ This, exactly. I never stated that anyone (including Metabones) is claiming continuous autofocus to work on a video camera body.

I'm new to the speedbooster world, just bought an ultra and a Sigma 24-105 and a Canon 70-200 f4 IS. So are you saying push auto should be working on these lenses? Is it to do with the advance / green option modes?

Getting push auto functionality would be very useful at times.

I'm also new to this technology, but based on my own experience (very short and limited, as I bought my first Speed Booster and my first ever Canon EF lens literally 5 days ago), several on-line reviews, and the Metabones webstite - I can say that:

- Metabones claim push AF should work in both modes
- I found it only working in Green Mode
- after switching modes several times and upgrading the firmware in the meantime, I can now witness Push AF hunting unsuccessfully when the lens is at its max tele zoom position, and only snaps to focus with shorter focal lengths

Disclaimer: something might go wrong with my new Canon lens, as well; unfortunately I don't have an EF-mount camera body to check!

Don't expect autofocus to work well with any adapter on the FS7. It barely works with dedicated E-mount lenses.

I got your point Liam - but I still think you don't get mine. My new Canon 16-35mm F4.0L IS USM / Speed Booster Ultra combo worked great at the beginning, as well (of course I only mean Push AF). Then for whatever reason it stopped working reliably; I thought people here might have some clue why.

Am I being rude, Ben?

OK, so as per this thread: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?347963-New-major-Release-for-Metabones-adapters

- my Speed Booster has now a new life, and I'm lusting about another lens to reach longer than my current Canon 16-35mm. With Brexit about to sink our Polish currency for some time (as any political turmoils always do with emerging markets' currencies), and the current Canon cash-back campaign - I think I'd better buy one asap; does any of you guys have an experience with the Canon 24-70 F4.0L ISM in video application? Frankly - seeing how Speed Booster actually only adds closer to half a stop of light - I'd prefer the F2.8 version, but that one doesn't have IS :(
