This weekend I shot a short with my HVX200. We worked with two 16gb p2 cards and dumped them to an external harddrive. Apparently this harddrive went down during the transfer, but we didn't notice and erased the card and reused it. Now there is a Contents folder with the correct file structure, it's 14 gb in size and all the files seem to be there, yet Final Cut Pro's Log and Transfer window doesn't recognise the clips, and Premiere Pro can import them, but only the thumbnails and the audio. So I think some of the video data is missing.
Is there any chance of recovering those clips (otherwise I can just put the rest into a bin straightaway since every single take of an essential shot is in that contents folder)? Any programm capable of extracting the video data?
Please help!!!
