Hi Everyone,
First let me preface this by saying if this post is inappropriate for this forum I deeply apologize and it was not my intention to violate any rules.
With that out of the way... This site has always been such a great source of information for me. I love that there's a venue where aspiring film-makers and professionals alike can come to give and receive advice. It's truly wonderful that something like this exists. I personally have learned so much from this site and it has definitely helped me grow in many different ways.
I wanted to reach out to you all and ask for your support to help raise funds for my new film White Knoll Drive. I'm producing and DP'ing it.
You can read all about it on our kickstarter page here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2068604224/white-knoll-drive-a-short-film
We have some AMAZING incentives lined up. My goal was to make sure that you guys feel less like it's a donation and you actually get something for your money. That's why I have things like behind the scenes photos and videos that don't just interview the cast etc. but show how the actual movie was made. You can see all of our decisions regarding camera, lighting, scripts, blocking, storyboarding, etc. etc.
Any amount helps, it really does, even if it's $1. But if you can't donate anything we would also appreciate any publicity you could help us garner by posting it to other webistes, facebook, or twitter.
I want to share my experience making this film with as many people as possible. Hopefully my experience can help someone else out there fulfill their dream of making films!
Many thanks for just reading this all the way through. Can't wait to see you guys on the other side =)
