Please Help: Interlaced Artefacts in Footage

I recently bought a Panasonic HMC150, and I am shooting in 1080/60i. When I imported the footage into Final Cut Pro, it looked fine in the canvas, but when I exported the video there were interlaced artefacts anytime there was the slightest movement in the scene. Originally I thought there was a problem with my exporting, but when switching the canvas view to 100%, I found it was the same in the original footage. Why does my footage look like this, and can I fix it somehow? Thanks in advance!

Did you de interlace it?
Forgive me. I am new at this, but if I de-interlace it, it will lose quality, right? Will it look like this on the television as well? I just read somewhere that the computer screen is not designed to view interlaced footage.

depends on what your doing and what your final export will be for. if your going to be playing back on a TV then you would probably export at 29.97 and keep it interlaced. all modern TV's and DVD players can playback progressive DVD's but if you wanted to be safe then for DVD it would be 29.97 interlaced if this would be something for the web then you would do progressive, square pixels at what ever frame rate you would like. If done correctly the footage will not have any interlacing artifacts when played back on a TV.
