I own a HVX200 and need to use it to shoot to miniDV tape in the SQUEEZE 16:9 mode, 24fps. I have been getting a very thin line of black at the top of the frame when I import the footage into FCP at DV NTSC 16:9 Anamorphic. I searched the forum and it seems others have had this problem and no solution has been offered. I work with clients that want miniDV 16:9 and this is a major issue.
