Hi,

I'm a newbie, i researched my question for a while now, but I haven't found any answers.

My question is how do I connect Marshall M-CT7 monitor to Sony EX3?

This is the monitor http://www.marshallmonitors.com/products/monitors/M-CT7/index.html

I know that SONY EX3 does not have HDMI output, even though the monitor came with two HDMI cables (including one mini-HDMI to HDMI) and also came with composite female (two yellow and one white) cable through an 3.5DIP earphone, AV input Jack

The monitor only has these inputs: http://www.marshallmonitors.com/products/monitors/M-CT7/Gal-03-HR.jpg
and I need to connect monitor to Sony EX3. What kind of cables/adapters do I need to get video showing on the screen?

If someone could briefly answer my question, I'd really appreciate it. I don't want to buy the wrong cables/adapters. Thanks. :)

Thanks,
Bee

Those links don't go to what you think they do. Please try again. Tried to search MCT7 on the site and it showed no results.

Is this the monitor model you have?

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=837494&Q=&is=REG&A=details

It says..."Additional accessories supplied include a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable, a standard HDMI cable, an A/V cable,
a cigarette lighter adapter, an AC/DC power supply, a hot shoe camera mount adapter, and a remote."

So I'm guessing, if you got all of those cables, the one you might try is the A/V cable connected to the "Monitor Out" port on the right side of the camera, then select the source AV1 or AV2...but I have no clue what type of connectors are on that cable.

Plus I don't think that monitor out port gives you HD video...but I could be wrong. It should give you a picture to see for some kind of reference.
