Please help - Horizontal lines on my footage

when ever i move my dvx i get these horizontal lines that go across the screen. i am positive that its something in camera

heres an example you can barely see it in the day shots but its going insane in the last shot. i would greatly appreciate it if someone can help me, this is really stressing me out

does it look like this in your viewfinder live or is this just show in the recording? Looks to me like a dirty dv head that needs to be cleaned. If it showed that on the screen live then its not a dv head. When was the last time you got um cleaned? Did you have it on auto or manual iris. Is almost looks like the camera is trying to adjust for something and is failing. Did you use gain?

I'm sorry to say that the issue could very well be with a chip on the CCD. This will be expensive to repair. If the problem is limited to when the camera is moving, I'd consider relegating this one to a locked-down B cam.

An investment at a repair shop will provide you with a proper diagnosis and estimate. Or, perhaps they'll tell you right off the bat if you explain what the problem is. They've most likely seen it before.
