Please help...editng in 24PA mode F6

Please, can anyone tell me what kind of editing sofware I need to edit my footage if shot in 24PA mode F6? I do have Avid DV Xpress 4.6.....Final Cut Pro...Final Cut HD. Please respond I am shooting tomorrow.

You can use FCP, just make sure that you use the pulldown removal when you capture it and change the sequence setting to 23.98 fps editing timebase.
 
If you were on PC, I'd suggest Vegas as you don't have to mess with pull down or anything ... it's all auto & works with 24P/PA extremely well. However, sounds like you're on Mac if you have FCP, and besides, if you've got a couple of solid programs anyway, why buy another & have the learning curve?

Otherwise, if you've got a PC, and are looking for something different, look into Sony's Vegas. You can download the free trial from their site.
 
Use FCP, but check all your settings under audio/video in the file menu. Make sure your capture scratch is at 29.97 capture, your firewire device setting,should be at 29.97, non-drop frame, and your timeling settings should be at non-drop frame, 23.98(so that you will be editing at true 24p)
