Please help!!! Capture 24fps or 30fps?

I have searched over and over again and I keep running into the same thing.
I am recording in 24fps on a DVX100B. When I capture my footage in Final Cut Pro, should I capture in 24fps or 30fps? In all of the other threads people say 24fps because thats what it is shot in, and then someone else will say 30fps because it is coded on the tape this way.....which one is it?!
Sorry, I am a total newbie to this stuiff! Thnx for any replies!
