Please, help a newbie: FS-100 problems

Hello!
I'm having a trouble trying to use the FS-100 with my HVX200a. When I'm recording on tape mode, it works fine, but in P2 mode it gives me a message: External 1394 disconnect.
:(
I've tried all configurations in manual, reset all equipment, did it again, and nothing.

Can anyone help me please? Did I bought wrong?

I was weird! I bought a new cable, and it doesn't work, now, i bought one more cable, other brand, and it works! :D Thanks a lot.
Now the challenge is try to record in 720PN 24PN, i guess

You do understand that you cannot record PN mode (set in camera) to FS, because PN video does not come out the Firewire.

However, supposedly FS can simulate this somehow (I do not use FS), but the camera must be set for 24P/30P.
 
Ok, but if I set 24P on camera and P2 PN on FS, automatically FS switch to P2 when I record. If I use Quicktime PN it works, but tell me, i better use P2 thank quicktime? And, Why it don't work with P2 PN?
