GH4 PLEASE HELP: A Canadian shooting for TV broadcast in Nigeria

Hello friends,

I have never shot for broadcast before, let alone broadcast in a PAL country. This is for a narrative film, so what would be best to give me the most flexibility in post, both for PAL TV broadcast, PAL DVD, and for NTSC DVD:

1. Shoot 24.000p and then conform to 23.976p for NTSC DVD and 25p for PAL TV and DVD?

2. Shoot 25p and then also conform to 23.976p for NTSC DVD?

Also, would the Nigeria TV deliverable generally be as 1920 x 1080 25p or as 50i? Or do they just broadcast still in 720 x 576 50i (Lower Field First)? Countrycode.org lists Nigeria as PAL B/G.

Thank you, Sir! Definitely useful info in there, good to know! I guess I mostly wanted to understand if it's easier to shoot 25p and convert to 23.976p than it is to shoot the other way around.
