Hey I feel like such a fool asking this, but I'm really new and I've been reading and searching so I wouldn't bother anyone, but I just can't figure some stuff out. I have read and now am pretty sure I'm going to purchase the mko12 with rycote bbg and jammer with ktek kssm shockmount. Ok, here's the dumb question.... how does it all connect onto the camera? I plan on getting a boom pole later, or making one, but for now if I want to attach the shockmount onto the camera, do I take off the original mount that's there now and then screw the ktek onto it. And then the microphone will just slip into it? I don't have the camera yet, so I can't look at it. Also, I can't seem to find exactly the rycote bbg and jammer. I went to one site someone said, the evs place and they had something like a baby doll rycote thing. I'm Confused as to what the two different things are. If someone could lead me to a site that shows the two that I need. Also, the ktek kssm shockmount, what size and where do I get it to fit this camera. Then of course I need a short xlr cable. Is there any one shop good for all this? Probably not. Well I've emabarressed myself enough. But you guys are a real godsend. Because of this place, I bought this camera and I've got a really good feeling about it, even though I haven't even played with it yet. I'm just trying to get set up for my son's graduation present.
