playing with time

Whats up guys,

CAMERA: DVX 100A


Im shooting a music video where Id like to have some parts in slow motion and other parts in regular 24p. Could I shoot in 24p and then switch the camera to 60i and keep shooting or do I need a seperate tape so the 2 different frame rates don't get mixed up? I'd like to do slow motion shot on 60i and the rest of my footage on 24p so I can slow down and post later. What would be the best way to handle this?

Thanks Barry,

I just did a test. I shot some test footage of me falling onto a bed and brought it into a 24p timeline and brought the duration to 40. I got amazing slow motion!!!

my next test is the "Saving private Ryan" look.
