A director I worked for shot in 60p, but wants it to play back as 24p slow motion. How do you do this, besides exporting as quicktime? There must be better way....

I'm no expert, but don't you just do this:
1) Make sure that the 60p clip in the browser says it's a 60p clip (scroll until you find the column that lists the frame rate) If it doesn't you need to change it back to 60p
2) Click into your timeline and then go to Sequence>Settings. Make sure that you sequence settings are set to 24p
3) Drag the clip into your timeline.

Probably the same thing
shoot a clip in 25p (or 24p?)
drag into FCP
alert - match the sequense to your clip ->OK
drag you 60FPS footage onto the timeline it will be slow
not that slow though its easy to miss !

Is it shot 60P or is shot at 24P overcranked to 60FPS?
