So, I record a clip in Cinema 1080p 24fps. Then i play that clip from the GH2 via HDMI to my Samsung LED HDTV 6300. When I press the "Info" button on the remote control for the TV, in the upper left corner, it says "1920 x 1080 @ 24 Hz". (If I play a Blu-ray disk, it says the same thing).
Now, if I copy the same clip straight from the SD card to the PS3 hard disk (or stream it with Java PS3 Media Streamer) and play it, when I press the "Info" button on the remove control, in the upper left corner, it says "1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz".
So, what's going on? Is the PS3 playing the raw 24fps clip from the camera at 60fps?
I set the PS3 Video setting "BD 1080p 24 Hz Output" to "On", but there is no equivalent for HDD video.
Any ideas? Thanks!
