Playback Settings - External Device - Interlaced??

Well, Premier is displaying the actual frame so I'm not sure on how we could deinterlace the preview without actually deinterlacing the video.

Perhaps you could change the monitor res to something less than 1920x1080. this will then force premiere to resample the footage removing the combing.

I don't think this will work as I am working with SD video, not HD.

Any other ideas. Can anyone here pass this question onto Adobe? I have tried but don't get a response.

Oh right.

I cant say I've ever noticed these symptoms with SD video, nothing that would generally bother me.

On the preview window, if you change the size to 100%, it too will have interlaced lines.

This is what the footage look like and the preview shows this.
