Playback Problems

I am fairly a beginer with the dvx100b, but for some reason my playback is not working on my camera, I press the VCR mode then play and just the blue screen appears, I am sure I hit something wrong anyone know what I did? I have been able to watch the preview option for 4 months until today.
 
It's possible that you have a head clog. Run a Panasonic cleaner tape for 5-10 seconds. Then try it. If it still doesn't work, open a brand new 63 minute Panasonic Professional or better yet, an Advanced Master quality tape, and fast-forward it to the end, then rewind it again. This should dislodge any left over debris from the orginal head clog. If this doesn't work, you may need to send your baby into an Authorized Service Center for a wet cleaning, however, from my experience, it may need a new transport. (You can't replace just the head assembly on the DVX100B version).
