Lately I have been having a major problem with my dvx100-100a which regards playback. While playing a tape around the 40 min mark it looses playback and displays the time-code break symbol and does not play video/audio but continues to count minutes down. At first I thought it was just the tape but I then tried two other tapes and they both did the same thing around the same time. (I know the time probably doesnt have anything to do with it and its probably just a coincidence. )
I then cleaned the heads with a panasonic digital video head cleaner but the problem persists.
I'm also having another problem. When the tapes mess up and i try another tape i get vertical lines of the image on the previous tape.
I'm thinking it might be a problem with the heads but cant be sure. Any input is greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.
