playback not smooth even after rendering...

Not understanding this...even after rendering my camera dolly move on my map, the dollying in is not smooth... Why don't camera movements play back smoothly in AE even after rendering?

Are you trying to play 1920x1080 material?... I have a problem playing that on my computer 'all the time'... it is showing its age...

But you may also look into frame blending, motion blending options to give some 'shutter blur' to the motion.

If it's due to cpu performance or lack-thereof, you shouldn't do anything to the video to compensate for that.


The first thing you need to do is determine whether it's your computer not able to play it back sufficiently, or if it's something that's baked into the actual render.
