Hi,
I'm overseas with my DVX100A. Generally I found my DVX to function well despite all the dust. However, my playback function has malfunctioned. There is a star that shows up in the timecode then disappears, then the tape is being forwarded but I cannot get the data to read, thus no image. It appears to be able to read timecode however, it just displays a blue screen. Firewire is also disabled.
Has anyone had this issue and is there a solution while I'm still out in the field? It has around 350 hours of usage.
