I recently tried to playback some 25p footage on my home television, and the images were very dark, and in black & white. I was using new RCA cables to connect my camera to the tv, so I don't think the cables are the issue...
I also attempted to play back some older mini dv tapes on my dvx100a, but an error message came up saying "incorrect format" or something to that idea. can i not playback tapes shot on other cameras?
I'm also planning on logging alot of footage this week, using final cut pro 4, for a documentary class project. I'm shooting everything in 25p, so are there any settings i need to change in fcp for me to log and capture successfully? or should it go smoothly with no changes?
