Playback horizontal blue bars

My 100b playsback tapes with horizontal blue bars ( about 8 of them) but the tapes play fine on other mini DVD camcorders. The 2 heads on the drum, is one for record and the other for playback? if so I would imagine that only the playback head is clogged and the record one is fine. I have tried the cleaning tape a few times and it still plays back with the bars. The camera has only 348 hours on it. The camera records fine, but playback is only fine on another cam/deck. Is there a better way to clean the heads? thanks
 
There is a system to clean right, just look into the articles section. Is a very old article, by the way, maybe five years old, but is the less agresive-most efective way to do it that I know
 
If your camera has been well cared for, 348 hours shouldn't require a cleaning. If you are using cheap tapes, especially with some type of lubricant, which I would avoid, then perhaps cleaning would be required. You may have some type of issue requiring service to your cam.
