Playback/Capture Squeeze from other camera?

Hi All,
Can you use a non-DVX camera to playback Squeeze mode video shot on a DVX for capture to NLE?
I know other cameras recognize everything else that's on the tape, I'm just not sure about Squeeze.

I asked this question in a thread on Slave cameras, wasn't sure if I was clear.

to my understanding EVERYTHING is recorded to tape...the image isdigitally squeezed and recorded as such on the tape, so any camera will play it back like that. its the NLE that does the unsqueezing. so u shud be good to go.
 
Yes, a non-DVX will capture EVERYTHING recorded by the DVX, even squeeze. Squeeze is done electronically in the DVX before it is put onto the tape, so it does not matter what camera is used for capture, the image will be transferred to the NLE EXACTLY the way the DVX saw and recorded it.
