So PL to E mount adapters are starting to crop up just wondering who has one and what are the reviews...

Are there more out there... I'm mainly wondering if anyone has tested either of these?

I've got the MTF PL to E adapter. Well-built for sure, a solid piece of kit. It's not a "supported" mount, however, and I wouldn't put anything heavier than the RED Pro 18-50 zoom on it.

I haven't used Ilya's Hot Rod Adapter, but I can tell you this… If Ilya makes it, it'll be about the best thing out there quality-wise.

Yeah... that thing looks solid... flange shims are a huge deal... The Hot Rod is mainly for cinema zooms and larger glass for sure. The other two mounts look like prime only mounts as far as I can tell. How do you like the MTF, do your pl's perform like you want them to?

The MTF is a quality adapter, and I haven't had any complaints at all with mine. At some point I'll probably upgrade to a supported mount, simply to open up the lens options a bit more.

I have the Hot rod cameras tuner S kit for my FS100 and it rocks. I like its fully height adjustable base plate. The built in quick release plate is very nice and it is forward backward adjustable to make balancing the camera very easy.

Thanks so much for the complement, it's always really nice to read things like this!

In the interest of full disclosure, I've never met Stephen and he hasn't received so much as a penny from Hot Rod Cameras.

Thanks Justin, I really appreciate the Hot Rod "Love Fest" I just stumbled into. Justin has not been paid to say nice things about Hot Rod Cameras products either.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I have met Justin twice. He's awesome, and clearly has great taste :-)

Purchased from Optitek. 4 Weeks of use so far, no complaints, it does the job. Rods, base, and PL adapter approx $875, I paid a bit more to add a few minor items (not visible).
