Hi,

I am considering to work on Primes lenses for my shortfilm.
So I want to Rent some lenses for a day and try them on GH1.

Where can I get the PL mount adapter? Since I haven't find it on Ebay.

Another technical question: I got ZEISS Ultra Prime Set T1.9 available on rent here.
What is T1.9? What does it means?
If T number is 1.9, then what will be the F number?

Many people are using the HotRod PL Mount adapter for GH1. Ask your local rental house to see if they have one or you can buy one from HotRod website for about $1,200. T1.9 refers to the speed of the lens. If you are not sure what T or F stops are, you should really consider hiring a Director of Photography. Chances are, you will have a better looking image and can learn from them a great deal. All the best

Cheers

T1.9 is the "T-stop" rating of the lens. F-stops are the mathematical dimensions of the iris, but don't necessarily accurately reflect how much light the lens is actually transmitting. The T-stop takes into account all factors and is an accurate representation of how much light gets transmitted.

A T-stop will never be faster than the f-stop, and is usually just a little bit slower. For example, the 18mm Zeiss Compact Prime has an f-stop of f/3.5, and a T-stop of T3.6.

Sometimes there's more of a difference; the Angenieux 12-120 cinema lens has an f-stop of 2.2, and a T-stop of 2.5.

In cinema the f-stop is used for calculating depth of field, but is not used for exposure. You use the T-stop to set exposure.
