PL Mount Options

So what is everyone using to mount PL lenses to their 700's? Anyone using knockoff's with success? Putting 12K worth of glass on a $100 adaptor seems off, but has anyone found a solid cheap alternative to the big name adaptors?

Hey,

This is by far the best made adaptor I own. And I have the metabones speedbooster also and a few of Novoflex pieces which all kinda feel funny at times. Especially the metabones seems to have a tad too much play both on the mount and lens side.

But when I need to go PL, this is my choice.

I have used it a lot of times with Zeiss Glass on the FS700 and absolutely loved it. It is firm, really well built and just works.

Looks interesting. Does it lock onto the 700 body? My novaflex for nikon's doesn't lock on, but with still glass it's no big.

I haven't used any PL lenses on my FS700 but I've looked at adapters just to know what's out there, and I feel like this one looked beefy and dependable:

It's $200 more than Vinyl's recommendation, but I feel like I would want to have the support on the adapter, especially because you twist the PL mount's locking ring to mount/remove the lens.

Hmmm. Looks like the same one but with rod support.

I have the one from MTF Services.

Pricey but very well built.
