PL Lenses

I'm contemplating the GH1 and maybe the Hot Rod PL mount, then getting some old PL cinema lenses on ebay. Can someone clarify which lenses are suitable for this set up? 16mm, super 16, 35mm, super 35..... I am clueless about these lenses. How does the crop factor come into play in this scenario? Why would some lenses be incompatible? Anyone with helpful advise or comments or knowledge, who has used cinema lenses on a GH1 would be appreciated.

What about C mount lenses? I've found C mount adapters for GH1 as well....here is a clip of a guy selling an Angenieux 10-120mm C mount lens on ebay....would all lenses have this vignetting??? Again clueless here!

It seems to go by a lens to lens basis, some where designed with slightly larger image circles than the 16mm format required, and so they don't vignette - all the zooms I've seen vignette, regardless of what focal length you are on (even on the very long end), however, it seems that the longer primes tend not to vignette. It seems that about the widest you can get, without vignetting is at the 25mm focal length, some do, some don't. I believe the Kodak 25mm f1.9 and f1.5 cover the sensor fully in movie mode.
 
i'll be testing some cooke s16 lenses next week with an arri standard > pl mount adapter. Will post some footage.
 
have a c-mount 25mm cosmicar 1.9 and it vignettes a bit but it has its uses and I dig its look. looks a lot different than my nikon 28mm. As for zooms, i am clueless since i tend to stay away from zooms.
