PIX240 & F3 720/50p ?

Has anyone been able to output a 720/50p 422 10bit signal from the A/B output of the F3 to the Pix 240 recorder? The F3 seems to output a 1080psf25 signal from the A/B outputs when I have the camera in 720/50p mode (at least Pix thinks it is 1080psf25). When I feed the signal from the F3 SDI out output the Pix recorder reads it correctly (720/50p). I´m confused, why does the camera output a 1080psf25 signal from the A/B output and a 720/50p signal from the SDI out? Is the 720/50p signal from the SDI out 10bit 422? What is the difference?

Thanks!

I have the camera system set to 720/50p, the over/under crank function is deactivated.. Still can´t get a 720/50p signal from the A or B output, only a 1080psf25 signal, strange(?). Sdi out is ok (assuming it´s a 422 10 bit signal..)

From another thread somewhere "You can't use SDI A or SDI B. They always output a 1080 signal regardless of the recording frame size of the camera."

You have to use the 'monitor' port to output 720p50/60. You also have to output and record in native 50p, then conform to 25p in post - PIX can't record the overcranked signal properly.

It's true each SDI port can only max out @ 30p correct? So combined it is how to achieve the 60p via dual-link decks. So interesting if you are shooting 720p the A + B ports will still always output 1080.
