Pictures of your GIRL.

Those are some GREAT pictures Envision!
I especially like that last pic of the bucket.

Your TV is huge! Your kids are going to have 16:9 eyes! ("square eyes is too oldskool)

Thanks for the compliments, guys. My wife takes some nice pictures too, but you can tell the ones I take as I'm usually trying to do DOF stuff ... which my family HATES posing for most of my pics because I'm so particular ... kind of take the fun out of it, I'm sad to say sometimes. :embarasse

LOL! We got a 32" about 10 years ago and thought it was HUGE. I got my realtor's license pretty much for the purpose of selling our home & buying a new one. I took a portion of the commission check(s) and bought our next 10 year TV ... a JVC 61" LCOS (Hybrid of DLP and LCD). I grew up on a piece of crap black & white ... not much bigger than 13". My kids have no idea how lucky they are ... but it's easy to take things for granted, when we've not had to work for them. They'll learn some day.

Real Pic of me and hope fully my wife one day. But she is really nice and talked to a fat kid for 20 minutes when she didn't have to. And I thought she was just a cute girl. Then I walked into the next hall and realized that she might be bigger then just some really hot girl.

But enough about the guy on the left - what about the one on the right?

I'll play:

My wife Valerie:

She just started learning to film and edit our events, and she's better with a camera than I am. Learned how to edit in our NLE in 15 mins, and has a great knack for it (I helped set up the project, but she editied a 3 cam shot dance routine). She will undoubtedly surpass me in a short time.

It is for this reason we should never teach our spouses how to do our "highly specialized" art form.

Damn.

ps. I am very proud of her, but I shall NEVER show her After Effects, that would simply be to much to bear.

Cool thread. SO difficult to choose what pic to show, so I'll be a bit of a hog & show several ... I'm just a proud papa.

Those are some nicely composed shots Norm! Great stuff.

Thanks guys, yeah I'm kind of partial to those beach pics as well. To be fair to my wife, as the golf pic doesn't really show her well, here's another one but unfortunately it's got my mug plastered in it as well.

It'll be interesting to see what she looks like a year from now, as this year she'll have MAJOR surgery on her jaws (upper, lower, disk/joints) for TMJ. It'll litterally change her face/look/smile, etc. But, she'll feel better, and that's all I care about.

Hey, very cool! That's from the Vanc., BC set for F4, right? Who were you a guest of on that? We got to visit it in Fall of '04 a couple times as well, and had a blast.

That's a really nice pic of you two Norm!

Thanks, Briceman.

Glad you like it, John (bucket shot)! It took a few tries as I didn't want to lay myself flat in the layer of beach water, while wearing dry clothes ... so I had to hold the camera down at an angle I couldn't see the screen (again, just a little consumer Fuji), then hold the button down a bit so it'd auto focus on the bucket, then slide it to the side some HOPING I got the family in frame, then push the button the rest of the way ... then bring it up, see it all sucked, and shoot it again.

My wife grouses about it, saying it's not a great family pic because all we really see is her backside, and none of the other kids ... my retort back is always "Yeah, but look at that depth of field!!!".

I don't know... Putting "depth of field" in the same sentence as a woman's backside is probably just as dangerous as saying "Hold on a sec. I'm gonna switch to widescreen."

"Honey, does this dress make me look WIDE SCREEN?"

HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!

men are all in big trouble !
