FS5: Picture Profile setting causing odd 'flashing' of footage in Premiere cc15

Not from me I'm afraid, although I've not chased it up. It's just become a case of avoiding the problematic colour profile settings.

Sony knows. Adobe knows. Lets hope the upcoming PPro update fixes it. No date from Adobe but announced for thus summer at NAB.

Best thing to do is perform some trial and error prior to shooting. I couldn't tell you which combination causes it so just test it beforehand.

For me the SOLUTION to get rid of these the flashes with Slog3 footage was to change the Video Rendering to Playback to Software Only:

Go to: File - Project Settings - General - Video Rendering and Playback - Mercury Playback Engine GPU Software Only

But doing that will nerf your computer and you'll lose the benefits to the gpu/cuda processing power.

I've had the same issues - I had to double check camera settings to make sure I didn't accidentally hit one of the 'auto' functions. Just stopped shooting in those specific PPs. Pain in the rear but can't hand off flickery footage to a client.

Any news on that front? Until last week I was on CC2014.2 and everything workd fine. I have the same bug using the FS7 on XAVC-L mode.

I believe the new version of Premiere Pro will arrive this week (Tues?). Hopefully, Adobe may have addressed this issue with the new release.
