Picture profile, is it me or ...

"Storing" and "Recalling" Camera data is an all or nothing deal. Installing the Abel Cine profiles in this fashion will overwrite the existing picture profiles.

Any factory default settings can be restored by using the "All Reset" in the OTHERS menu.

You could always add any extra profiles you want by hand in the Picture Profile menu so they're all available at one time. You have 10 slots in the camera memory. To keep up to 20, keep them on SxS cards or SDHC cards (1 card for each set) and switch them out using "Recall Camera Data"

Keep in mind, formatting SxS cards will delete saved camera data. I generally delete my old clips in XDCAM Browser instead of formatting cards in the camera, in part for this reason.

Occasionally it is a good idea to format the cards. It cleans up the filestructure, and keeps the card movng at optimal speed. Once in 10uses ought to do.
 
I think it is a good idea to buy either a few small capacity SD cards to use in an adaptor and just dedicate those for settings/pProfile storage.
 
Ned....... that's genius..... I even have a 2gig SDcard I can use in the MxR's
