Picture no longer level

I've done several tests and I think that my lens (or optics) in the camera is not level any more. Is that possible? For example, after 6 beers ... (just kidding).

I'm using a tripod with a level bubble. I put the camera on the tripod and level everything out. When I look through the view finder or LCD, everything is tilted - not drastically - but noticebly depending on zoom. I don't recall dropping the camera. Has this happened to anyone?

I've also taken the camera off tripod, placed it on a level floor or table (tested this with a standard level) and still the same result - crooked.

No, I wish. I've taken that off and checked the view without it on and with a level on top of the camera. It is definitely crooked.

Thanks for responding Jan! Yep, that's what I thought (and dreaded). Of course I'm in the middle of a project and my 4 year warrenty is with a company in NYC. I'm going to call a Service Center in Rockville, MD and see if they can be quick about it.

Nope no warnings. It's just crooked. Maybe the optics or mirrors need to be reseated/adjusted? I have no idea. Just guessing here.
