Pics of my crane and dolly

Nice work. I'm in the process of making the dolly myself (the crane is a bit much for me right now). Does anyone know if you can get or make a semi-circle track for the dolly? A track that would be good for circling conversations and fight scenes.
 
It depends on the type of dolly you use. You can't really use one like the one in this thread. I've seen them where the dolly consists of three moveable arms. That way, the dolly can compensate for the changing distances between the tracks on a curve. If you build one like that, you can use PVC irrigation tubing, which bends, and get some success with curves.

Someone recently posted a design for a dolly like this here, but I don't know who it was.
 
Do you think it would work if you made a dolly similar to the one john hudson made, only have the mounts that the skateboard wheels are on moveable (like on a pivot). Then use some bendable tubing as a track?
