And yes, I wish the dolly was longer to better accomodate the crane. I didnt have the crane when making the dolly and didnt even think about it. There are 3 or 4 dolly/crane shots on my next film that will be a little hard, but itll work out

Oh, anyone who has made thsi dolly before, how the HELL do you connect all the ends for the handle? They are all twist on, so it seems like there is no way to twist the last one on...

I never have problems connecting my DVX to the computer......btw, nice jib. How long did it take you to build?

Doubleit,
Another thought on your handle problem, On mine (very similar to yours) I put the pipes in a "t" for the handle. It makes it easy to to take apart for transport/storage. The other thing I did was mount the pipe flange on a block of wood at a 45 degree angle from the dolly. This way you are pushing/pulling closer to parallell to the track. It puts less stress on the handle and joint.

Are you saying you have one vertical pole and then one horizontal pole so its like, well, a T?

Yep. I used a 36" pipe, a "T" and 2 12" pipes for the handles. I put caps on the ends to save my hands from getting scratched. Very easy to get on and off.
