PhotoPlus Expo, New York City

Not sure if this is PhotoPlus or Z50 related but Z6 is down to $1,700 (from the familiar online retailer), with the 32 GB XQD card and a bag (~ $100 value) thrown in.

Have you seen any really good, impressive footage from the Z6 yet? Links would be great if you have, I haven't yet?

This is a very positive review after a year of use. Some video clips beginning at ~ 9:00.

I think the out-of-camera colors are oversaturated. But ARRI likes it.

FWIW, CIPA numbers for September are not out yet. For August, ILC's are down 37% from a year ago in units shipped.

On a related note, Canon EOS RP is marked down to $1,000 at your friendly retailers. That's a full frame RF mount camera, in case someone missed it.

Major discounts are being offered on the existing Fuji gear too.

i wish i felt more confident about fuji camera reliability.

i have known two different folks, one form the west one from nyc and both adore their fuji systems.

BUT...

...both have had issues with their cameras: xt2/xh-1/xt20

screen freezing up, knobs falling off, camera shutting down.

i'm a guy who often buys used, and i just stay away from fuji.

(silly me?)

ymmv

be well.

I think the XT3 was a change of pace. Never had an issue with mine.
