photo shoot mode

can any one help me i havnt used this before but see that you can do what is called photo shot ... and after looking through the book and pressing the button on the remote it doesnt seem to do any thing...can someone please tell me what you have to do to use this mode and what exactly does it do ...and is it any good...many thanks...Paul ???

If you are talking about the DVX, there is no exclusive, still photo shoot mode in this camera.

However you can get nice 'frame grabs' out of your video in post, specially if you have shot in the progressive mode.

i have got very good frame grabs from the video its self like you say .... but if you cant get a photo sot mode ...then what is the button on the infra red remote for ...called photo shot... ??? Paul

the remote is a universal sort of remote that operates ALOT OF DIFFERNT PANASONIC CAMERAS. so some ofthe functions of the remote are just for other cameras.. they dont work the DVX.
