Phones Jack Dead :-(

Well, my headphones jack mysteriously quit working. I have to have mic levels and audio monitor levels cranked all the way up to hear anything. And even at that, all I hear is a slight buzzing in the left channel.

So before I run to radioshack, I was wondering if it were possible to use the A/V in/out with a converter to 1/8" headphones for monitoring instead of the phones jack.

I'm keeping my fingers croseed! $900 bucks to replace the circuit board does NOT sound like fun.
 
ok i answered my own question, i plugged it into some speakers via the a/v in/out plug and it worked in camera mode. thank god! i was panicked there for a second.
