Looking for a videographer/editor to be a part of our team! We are an independent arts organization who produce monthly events at Phoenix's Foundry on First for all artistic talent in film, music, art, photography, hair, makeup, fashion, performing arts and more! This person must create 15-25 short (2 min) promotional videos for each artist per month all while maintaining the overall brand, look, feel and creativity of the organization. Seeking someone who can fit into our organizations young, creative, enthusiastic and inspired nature, this isn't just doing this for a job but loves what we are doing for artists and the community.

Responsibilities:
Capturing each showcase event through film
Conducting quick interviews with each artist
Capturing the showcase vibe and brand of organization
Editing each film with interview of artist and footage of their work at the showcase into a 1-2 min cohesive promo video in a 3 week time frame.

As you can see, they all differ slightly in music, angles, lighting but share a general style - an artists' interview intercut with b-roll of their work.

Equipment needed:
HD Camcorder or DSLR
Wireless lavalier Microphone, boom-mounted shotgun mic, or ENG-style hand mic
Appropriate Lighting
Non-linear editing software that edits HD video and can composite/animate Photoshop graphic assets. e.g. Final Cut Pro 7/X, Adobe Premiere CS5, Avid Media Composer 5. We will provide some graphics packages, production music, color codes and style sheets for the videos.

Pay: $450.00 per show

Job Length: The shows take place on the first Friday of every month, from 2/3/2012 - 12/7//2012. There will also be an awards event in November, date/pay/format TBD.

The main objective of this is to provide informative, promotional clips that promote the organization and the artists featured for them to be able to build their career in their art.
