Good actors. It's nice when they just are those people.

I liked the lighting a lot but I can imagine some will say it doesn't fit the genre. It's definitely a bold move. I still dig it though.

Yeah, I figured that as well but it's just my DP style. Not a big fan of high-key romantic comedy lighting.

Great! I think the lighting fits the subject perfectly actually, naturalistic and high key without calling attention to itself. One thing that I did think called attention to itself was the steadicam super wide shot. It stands out too much from the other shots enough to distract you from that pacing of their banter and I think that you can see enough of the room in the shot when he sits down to know what he is talking about. Also, I think having it be a reveal after the line might work better for comedic timing.

Overall good stuff though. Are you the writer director or only DP?

Wow, the audio is better than I would've expected from that (shotgun) mic in that (small, reflective) room. Anything special post done to it, such as iZotope RX?

Are the images "cinematic" or "television"?

Sorry Marlon ...but to me ...it's television ...and its kind of lensed in a non "cinematic" manner .

Its the only way I can express that there is a difference.

I do hope you posted expecting input and evaluation and I am not trying to burst anyones bubble.
