Took me a couple of hours and two separate sessions on two separate days to figure it out. Drove me nuts how there never seemed to be a rhyme or reason to the score.

The sad thing is, I got the first four answers right and had no clue how I did it. Then I thought I knew and tried that formula and failed miserably.

I'll be heading out tomorrow to get a set of dice so I can toss this game over lunch at the office...

Solved it on the first roll, because it's just like this other game I used to play... but it was called polar bears around the ice. I've been part of the 'fraternity of polar bears around the ice' since I was like 15. It's a great party trick. Get's the chicks all frustrated.

Well, if you figured it out, you are supposed to register to join the Fraternity of the Petals Around the Rose pledging to not share the answer. I guess they take this brain teaser pretty seriously. sheesh.

I prefer to stay in the Polarbears Fraternity. Sounds way cooler, plus I got initiated in person, here you just register on some dude's forum. :beer:

In addition, this version of the game sounds like a Soap Opera Prologue... "like the pedals around a rose, these are the days of our lives....." or something like that.

Polar bears...cooler...pardon the pun right? ha!

While I agree that "Petals Around the Rose" is not a particularly macho name, the "Polar Bears Fraternity" conjures up images of you and about 30 senior citizens taking a dip in a frozen lake.
