Anyone who has seen for example, Michael Manns movie Public Enemies may have noticed how things turn to poo when the EX1 is used.
My theory is that small sensor cams have the advantage of deep DOF in lowlight, compared to needing to light for F8 on a large sensor. However using a small sensor cam means using low mm glass for a given framing and it is this which kinda burns in that cropped wide angle perspective even though the shot is not wide angle if you get what I'm saying.
Combining DSLR video with small sensor cams footage produces a noticeable change in perspective. So is there a plugin, whatever, that will kill the perspective of the small sensor cam and make it look like bigger glass?
