PERFECTLY sync'ing up audio from two cams

Trying to line up the clap board "clap" from two different cameras, so I can make sure the two angles are in perfect sync.

When I get in REAL close in the audio timelines, the "clap" is just BARELY off from each other ... enough to where you can ALMOST hear it. I want it perfect, but doing so would mean adjusting the audio just half a frame ... which I seem unable to do. My only choice is one entire frame forward or back, which throws it off worse either direction.

Anyway to slightly cheat the audio one direction or the other?

Make sure Quantize to Frames is turned off, select the event that you want to move on the timeline and use the 4 and 6 keys on the numeric keypad to move the event left or right by one pixel. The closer you are zoomed in on the timeline, the finer the movement will be (as one pixel would represent a shorter duration on the timeline).

FINALLY! Thank you, Jive. I'm guessing this is a little known fact about Vegas, as there had been 15+ views with yours being the only response ... so I assume no one else knew the answer either.

Thanks again!!

LOL, Envision, *I* knew the answer. Just didn't know that you'd asked the question.
You can fairly easily write a script that will disable QTF, sync all points to a marker, and then re-enable QTF if you do a lot of this.
